IONIA, Ephesus, (295-280 B.C.), AE 12, (1.786 grams), obv. bee with open wings dividing E - **F, all within laurel wreath, rev. stag standing to right head reverted, quiver above, (cf.S.4407, SNG Cop. 265-6, cf.SNG von Aulock 1874). Deep green patination, edge roughness, otherwise nearly very fine.
