PHOENICIA, Tyre Mint, Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (13.466 grams), issued 215-217, obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around AYT KAI AN TWNINOC CE, rev. eagle standing facing, head to left, wreath in beak, between legs murex shell on a club, around **DHMARC EX UPA[TOX TOD]*, (S.2679, Bellinger 303 [ANS Mum. Studies No.3, p.87, Pl.XXI, 9], Prieur 1547 [p.171]). Tight flan, off centred on the reverse, very fine and very scarce.
