L. MEMMIUS GALERIA, (c.106 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.756 grams), obv. Saturn laureate head to left, harpa and ROMA behind, rev. Venus in biga to right, Cupid flies above, M.MEMMI/GAL in exergue, . P below horse leg, (S.190 [£55 VF], Cr.313/1c, Syd.574a). Serrated edge, good very fine, a scarce variety.
