GEORGE III, pattern halfpenny, 1788, (late Soho issue), by J.P. Droz [probably struck by W.J. Taylor], in bronzed copper, D.F. on truncation, rev. Britannia seated on globe to left, ship's rudder and palm branch in exergue, edge guilloche, (Peck 963). Brilliant as struck, FDC and extremely rare.
