FRANCE, Louis XIV, (1643-1715), silver ecu, 1705A, Paris mint, overstruck several times on different issues with traces of another date, obv. draped bust of Louis XIV to right, rev. arms in centre of eight L's and four fleur-de-lis, (KM.362.1/-, Gad.224/-, D.1322/-). Light grey tone, weak in places as usual, very fine and rare.
