GERMANY, Bavaria, Ludwig, I (1825-1848), silver thaler, 1827, obv. head right, rev. founding of the Order of Ludwig, (KM.380, D.560). A superb proof-like brilliant example, with steel blue and gold peripheral toning, uncirculated and probably one of the finest known.
