RUSSIA, Anna, bronze medal, 44mm, issued 1737, by BP, commemorating the battle in the Austro-Russian-Turkish war (from 1736-1739) as the capture by Marshal Count Burkhardt vov Munnich of the town of Ochakov in 1737 at the mouth of the Bug river, obv. Anna to right, engraver initials below, rev. Russia with victory wreath, tied captives on left to trophies. Nearly extremely fine and rare.

With old ticket from Felix Schlessinger, Amsterdam (c.1920).
