RUSSIA, Alexander II, (1855-1883), silver prize medal, 50mm, by Brusnitzin, for first place to the students of the Noble Females Institute or 'Womens School' (Gymnasium), obv. Maria Alexandrovna head to right, rev. inscription within olive wreath, (Smirnow 654). With a light golden tone, extremely fine or better and rare.
