RUSSIA, Nicholas II, 1911 cased silver gilt and enamel badge, with gold crown and lyre at base, 58 x 44mm, known as the Alexander Imperial Lycee (College) of Tzarskoe-Selo, Insignia of the Jubilee for the centenary 1811-1911, red enamel badge, (Andolenko & Werlich fig.751 [p.183]). Extremely fine and rare.

Awarded to teachers and graduates of this institution. It is a red enamel badge surrounded by oak and laurel leaves topped by a gold crown. In the centre are the combined monograms of Alexander I and Nicholas II. At the base is the gold lyre separating the dates 1811 and 1911.
