Begins with Chalon heads 1857-8 No wmk imperf 1d Dull Orange SG8 4 margins, nicks in margins, only fair, 2d Blue SG10, 3 margins, just in at bottom, 6d Pale Brown SG14 three margins, in at left, close at bottom, 1862 wmk Large Star imperf 2d Pale Blue SG38 4 margins, close at top, 3d Brown-lilac SG40 4 margins, 6d Brown SG42 3 margins, close to just in on left, 1/- Green SG44, 4 margins, close at bottom, 1864 wmk NZ imperf 1d SG97 Carmine-vermilion 3 margins, nick in left, 1/- Green SG100 3 margins, close to in on left, all used, Cat. val. £1965. Thence a nicely annotated collection, including 1898 2/- Mint, 1906 Christchurch Exhibition to 3d Mint, 1920 Victory set Mint (except 1/2 d), 1931 Smiling Boys used, 1958 SG763b Error Surcharge on SG725, good range of Official stamps 1907-1961 and much more. Mint and used (many 100's).
