W.W.I., compass, cased, made by Barnes & Morris, London, No.13672 1917, as used by the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, impressed on lid of case 'L.F. & Co. 1916' and inscribed 'N.Z.R. 18580 J.S.Marsden'. Securing strap piece missing, otherwise good fine.

Second Lieutenant J.S.Marsden, Wellington Regiment, died on Active Service 04Oct1917.
