AUSTRALIAN ARMY, dress blues tunic, trousers and cap with rank and collar badges, c.1950, also khaki issue peak cap with RAAOC badge, originally issued to Major J.W.Snelling formerly the Australian Army's Chief Inspector of Fire Services in Canberra, service details of Major Snelling - Governor Taiping Prisons Malaya H.Q., Commandant Changi Prisons, War Crimes and member No.7 War Crimes Court 1946, H.M.Convict Prison Taiping Official Visitors book and Prison Orders book (rare), attached inside Standing Order No.1/45 'It is hereby ordered that all Prison Standing Orders ... signed Major Snelling'. Very good - very fine.
