CARIA, Knidos, (c.first half of 3rd century B.C.), silver drachm, (3.166 grams), obv. head of Aphrodite to right with hair rolled and confined in sphendone within dotted border, rev. forepart of lion to right, KNI below, above **QEUMELWN*, (S.4847 [£175], BMC 43 [p.90, Pl.XV, 10, same dies]). Light tone, minor surface roughness, very fine and rare.
