EGYPT, Kingdom of, Cleopatra III and Ptolemy IX, (116-107 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, issued year 8 = 110-109 B.C., (13.712 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. head of king right wearing aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front L H, to right **PA*, around **PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS*, (S.7922, Sv. 1669, SNG Cop 352); others Ptolemy III, (246-221 B.C.), AE 42 (drachm), obv. Zeus Ammon head right, rev. eagle, (S.7814, Sv.964, SNG Cop.171); others billon tetradrachms of Egypt for Aurelian and Diocletian(?), Roman 4th century bronzes (3). First weak in places, otherwise good fine/fine, others very good - good very fine. (7)
