M. CIPIUS, M.F., (115-114 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.838 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, M.CIPI.M.F. before, X behind, rev. Victory in biga to right, rudder below, ROMA in exergue, (S.166 [£125 EF], Cr.289/1, Syd.546). Off centred on the reverse, small flan as usual, otherwise good very fine.
