VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issue of A.D. 74, (3.410 grams), obv. IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, laureate head to right, rev. PON MAX TRP COSV, Vespasian seated to right holding branch and sceptre, (cf.S.2300, RIC 77, RSC 364). Nice attractive dark patina, nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
