HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 134-138, Rome mint, (2.968 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. RESTITVTORI HI SPANIA around, Hadrian standing left, holding roll about to raise Hispania holding branch, kneeling befiore them, rabbit between them, (cf.S.1096 [£110], RIC 327, RSC 1260). Well centred, dark toned and weak on parts of the obverse legend, very fine and very scarce.
