JULIAN, (A.D. 360-363), silver siliqua, Arelate mint, issued A.D. c.260-3 (1.926 grams), obv. laureate bust draped and cuirassed of Julian to right, around DN FL CL IVLIANVS PF AVG, rev. VOT X MVLT XX within wreath, [P]CONST in exergue, (S.4070, RIC 309, RSC.148c). Nearly very fine and scarce.

Ex Cornelius C. Vermeule III Collection, sold in Triton III (lot 1729 part) for the benefit of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts with his ticket.
