AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH BADGES & MEDALETS, 1) to commemorate establishment of The Commonwealth 1901 'Advance Australia ' Australian Coat of Arms Shield & Rising Sun. with Flags and Crown at top. Appears to be of British manufacture because of decoration around the edge eg thistles, three leaf clovers and roses. (Made by J.F. with British Hallmark) Silver with red, white & blue enamel some enamel is missing otherwise a very desirable piece 42mm x 35mm; 2) The State of Queensland 1901 Australian Commonwealth 1901 Unity is Strength AE Gilt C1901/37 31mm OD; 3) In Commemoration of Australian Commonwealth 1901 Australian Coat of Arms Crown above surrounded by Wreath with clasped hands at the bottom. Reverse Shire of Coburg presented to and engraved R. Yorke by C.R. Arthur Cherry J.P. President Silver 1901/22 31mm OD; 4) Commonwealth celebrations Victoria May 1901 Oval in shape with cross in centre and at the top is the Australian Flag to the right and the Union Jack to the left and crown above AE Gilt slightly worn and dirty 50mm x 28mm; 5) One Flag One Empire Hands all Round. Each extremity nominates the six states eg N.S.W. V. Q. S.A. T. W.A. Australian Commonwealth 1901 with Australian Coat of Arms and Advance Australia at top. Reverse inscribed presented by the Western Australian Bank 1 Jan 1901 AE Gilt red, white & blue enamel Rd. No. 366028 41mm x 31mm; 6) As Above but the reverse is not inscribed; 7) Centenary Medal 1888 Captain Cook on obverse. Reverse has map of Australia & States AE Gilt C1888/4 40mm x 36mm; 8) Australia's 150th Anniversary 1938 Youth Carries On Obverse Portrait of Arthur Phillip Governor of N. S.W. With original green & gold ribbon AE 28mm OD; 9) 50 years Commonwealth of Australia 1901-1951 AE C1951/16; 10) Two Australia Day Passes 20th January 1988 Sydney reverse impressed Bicentennial celebrations Official Guest of the Government of N.S.W. Gilt one with yellow and one with red enamel with original strings. Fine - extremely fine.(10)
