GEORGE III, Resolution and Adventure 1772 in platina (brass) (44mm) by Matthew Boulton (BF on trucation of neck). Struck from the first or cracked reverse die (M.H.373; BHM.165). Small suspension plug, overall bronzing patination smooth and almost entirely intact except for a few exposed brass spots, good very fine and very rare in this condition.
