LETTER, An extensive letter of over three pages writen Sept. 27th 1834 from Hobart Town, VDL., from J. MacDougall to his defending barister at his trial in 1821 in England seeking his help in achieving a free pardon and his sending of money, the letter has a printed hand-written copy attached to assist the reading of the original. Fine condition.
Letter also mentions the writer's part in the capturing of the bushranger Mathew Brady.
