CORINTHIA, Corinth, (345-307 B.C.), silver stater, (8.38 grams), obv. Pegasos flying to left, Q below, rev. head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet, N and Ares helmeted standing with spear and shield behind, (cf.S.2626, Calciati 376, Ravel 1056, BMC 325, SNG Cop.121). Superb grey blue tone, slightly off centred on the obverse, light obverse scratch on the reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
