CLAUDIUS AND AGRIPPINA JUNIOR, (A.D. 41-54), silver cistophorus, Ephesus mint, issued A.D. 41-42 and 50-51, (8.600 grams), obv. cojoined bust of Claudius and Agrippina to left, around TI CLAVD CAES AVG AGRIPP AVGVSTA, rev. cult figure of Diana of Ephesus to facing polos on head, with fillets hanging from wrist, (S.1888 [£1250 VF], RIC 119, BMC 231, RSC 1). Porous surface, otherwise very good and very rare.
