TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), AE medallion 35mm, struck 103-4, Rome mint, (26.1 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Trajan with aegis, around IMP CAES NERVA TRAIAN AVG GERM DACICVS P M, rev. Trajan in quadriga to right, around TR P VII IMP IIII COS V P P around field, plain exergue, (Gnecchi 3 [p.14, Volume III], similar example not as fine in BMC). With knocks and corrosion spots, reverse with old scratches, otherwise very good and very rare.
