PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), silver antoninianius, Rome mint, (4.24 grams), obv. radiate bust to right, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. Roma seated left, holding Victory and spear, shield at side, around ROMAE AETERNAE, (S.2567, RIC 44b, RSC 165). Dark grey and gold tone, extremely fine.

Ex William Allen Collection, sold Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge, London, March 14, 1898, (Lot 76, the coin realised 1/-) and A.H. Baldwin & Sons November 1952 with tickets.
