JUSTIN I AND JUSTINIAN I, (A.D. 4 April - 1 August 527), follis, Constantinople mint, (15.780 grams), obv. profile bust of Justin I, partial legend around, ..VSTIN E IVSTI.., rev. M, to left star, to right cross, cross above, CON in exergue, **D* officinae, (S.125, DOC [10], R.439). Surface pitting as usual, cleaned, weak on parts of the obverse legend, otherwise fine/very fine and very rare.
