GREAT BRITAIN, Bank of England, ten pounds, London, 16 April 1935, Peppiatt signature, K/145 10264 (P.336). Rough edges, toned paper, otherwise nearly extremely fine.

This note is very probably a counterfeit made in Nazi Germany in World War II having several features as noted by Bryan Burke in 'Nazi Counterfeiting of British Currency during World War II: Operation Andrew and Operation Bernhard'
