Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, lion head to extreme left, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMACOU*, trident in exergue, (cf.S.6813, Thompson -, cf.Seyrig 'Essays in Greek Coinage' to Stanley Robinson, Plate 23, 9 [similar obverse die]). The simple trident in the exergue was used as Seyrig suggests for Byzantium from 205-195 B.C. The lion head in extreme left has been previously unlisted.
