SICILY, Acragas (Agrigentum), (c.500-480 B.C.), silver didrachm, Jenkins Group IV, (8.404 grams), obv. eagle with closed wings standing to left, AKRA behind, rev. crab with large legs on flat field, (cf.S.709, SNG Ash 1656 [same dies], SNG Lloyd 791 [same dies]. SNG ANS 927 [same dies]). Slightly worn but weight, good silver, good fine/nearly very fine and a scarce type.
