MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.862 grams), Aradus mint, issued c.323-316 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, **SER* monogram in circle over bunch of grapes all to left, to right **FILIPPOU*, below **[B]ASILEWS*, all within dotted border, H on side in exergue, (cf.S.6749, Price P156, BMC P156a-f, M.P64). Very fine.
