SICILY, Syracuse, (end of 5th century B.C.), AE 20, (7.535 grams), obv. head of Athena to left wearing Corinthian helmet with laureate, **[SU]PA* before, Rev. Hippocamp to left with curled wings and long hanging rein, (S.1193, BMC 289, SNG ANS 434ff.). Attractive dark green patina, very fine and scarce.
