CARIA, Knidus, (300-225 B.C.), plated silver hemidrachm (0.954 grams), obv. head of Aphrodite to right hair rolled, all within dotted border, rev. bull's head facing, KNI above, part legend around of Magistrate **SOSTRATOS*, (cf.S.4845, SNG Cop. 303, SNG Finland -); Pontus, Amisus, (85-65 B.C.), AE 23, (7.404 grams), obv. aegis with Gorgon head in centre, rev. Nike to right with palm, [AMI]**SOU across, monograms in field, (S.3642, SNG Cop. 172, Malloy 45v, BMC 77-78); Paphlagonia, Sinope, (415-365 B.C.), silver drachm, (S.3692). Last fair, others fine - very fine, and a scarce signature on the Knidus hemidrachm, rare as a fouree. (3)
