ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, (c.260 B.C.), silver shekel or didrachm, (7.512 grams), obv. head of Tanit to left, wreathed with corn, wearing necklace, dotted border, rev. horse standing to right looking back, palm tree behind, star before, (S.6491, SNG Cop. 141, M.108, Visona 17). Dark tone, good very fine and scarce.
