ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, (c.215-203 B.C.), silver quarter shekel or hemidrachm, (1.756 grams), Carthage mint, obv. head of Tanit to left, wreathed with corn, dotted border, rev. horse standing to right, line border, (cf.S.6499, SNG Cop. 335, M.90, Visona 42). Attractive blue-grey tone extremely fine and scarce.
