ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 218-222, (3.102 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP CAES ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around SALVS ANTONINI AVG, Salus standing to right, feeding serpent held in her arms, (S.2116, RIC 140, RSC 256). Well centred, toned, nearly extremely fine/good very fine, scarce.
