MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305 first reign), AE folles, Cyzicus mint, issued A.D. 297-9 (10.20 grams), obv. laureate head of Maximianus to right, around IMP C M A MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPU LI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, in exergue K**G*, (cf.S.3633, RIC 12b). With nearly full silvering, some oxidation on reverse near edge, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.
