EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.050 grams), Tyre mint, obv. head of Ptolemy I to right wearing aegis, **D* behind head, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front TYP monogram over club, behind **L*/AB monogram, around **PTOLEMAIOU SWTHROS*, (cf.S.7773, Sv.659, cf.SNG Cop 489, BMC 82, Meydancikkale 4411, 4413, 4415-6). Very fine and rare.
