NERVA, restoration coinage of Nerva in honour of Divus Augustus, (A.D. 96-98), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 96, (11.124 grams), obv. bare head of Augustus to right, around DIVVS AVGVSTVS, rev. around IMP NERVA CAES AVG REST , S C in exergue, facade of altar-enclosure of the Ara Providentiae Augusti with double panelled door, (S.3080, RIC 133, BMC 158, C.566). Very dark green tone, weak in centre of reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine/good very fine and rare.
