CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 206, Rome mint, (3.340 grams), obv. laureate bust draped to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Caracalla standing left, sacrificing over tripod, around VOTA SVSCEPTA X, (S.6909, RIC 150, RSC 688). Dark tone, nearly extremely fine, scarce.
