EDWARD VIII, 1937, set of four privately issued proof/pattern crowns in (.925) silver, copper, Barton's metal (gold plated copper) and golden alloy. Obverse head of King is sculpted by Donald R. Golder and based on the designs submitted in 1936 by McMillan and Paget. Reverse features the crowned shield of Southern Rhodesia. One of only 350 sets issued. Plain edges. (4)
