EGYPT, Kingdom of, Cleopatra III and Ptolemy IX, (116-107 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, issued 110-109 B.C., (13.858 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy IX to right, with aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front L H, to right **PA*, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (cf.S.7921-2, Sv. 1669, SNG Cop. 352). Very fine or better.
