GEORGE III, pattern halfpenny, 1788, (late Soho issue), by J.P. Droz [probably struck by W.J. Taylor], in gilt copper, D.F. on truncation, rev. Britannia seated on globe to left, ship's rudder and palm branch in exergue, D under shield, edge guilloche, (Peck 962). Brilliant as struck, FDC and rare.
