GEORGE III, restrike proof cartwheel penny struck in silver, 1797 (cf.S.3777, cf.Peck 1149-1151). Hairline field marks, otherwise nearly as struck, good extremely fine and extremely rare.

The obverse and reverse dies are distinctive. The obverse die with the long flaw across the neck and the reverse with the circular hairline flaw from ship to rock on right (cf.Peck Pl.30,z) for start of flaw.
