IRELAND, Civil War Coinage, 'Gun Money', magnificent proof sixpence February 1689, struck in silver, (KM.93a, Spink 6583k). Fully struck and well centred on a full planchet, with a beautiful medium multicoloured patina of gold, red and blue green dominating, weak in places, otherwise nearly FDC, very rare and probably the finest known of this month and date.
