ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, (7.175 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, cantharus behind, XAPI below, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below K, below exergue **[N]EOPOLITW[N], (cf.S.307, Sambon 467b, SNG ANS 356 [same dies], SNG Cop. 422 [same dies]). Off centred on the obverse, otherwise fine/nearly very fine and a scarce symbol.
