BITHYNIA, Nicaea, Julia Mamaea, mother of Severus Alexander, (c.A.D. 222-235), AE 19, (3.580 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Julia Mamaea, around IOY**[LIA MA]MAIA AVG*, rev. three standards across NI KA IE **WN*; (cf.S.3421, BMC 106, SNG Cop.521). Attractive dark patina, slightly off centred on obverse, otherwise very fine/nearly extremely fine, scarce in this condition.
