IONIA, Ephesos, (c.540 B.C., Karwiese dating), silver drachm, (3.384 grams), obv. bee with tendrils, curved wings, rev. crude quadripartite incuse square, (cf.S.3517, SNG Von Aulock 1826, Karwiese Group VI Series 1b). Nearly very fine and very rare.
