IONIA, Ephesus, (202-133 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.000 grams), obv. bee with open wings dividing [E] - **F, all within dotted border, rev. stag standing to right, palm tree behind, before magistrate's name **[-]ALEAS* (Palaeas?), (cf.S.4411, not known as a magistrate in Munsterberg, cf.BMC 121-133). Slightly off centred on the obverse, attractive dark grey patination, otherwise very fine and a very rare (unlisted) magistrate.
