EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy I, (323-283 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, issued 305-283 B.C., (14.290 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with aegis, **D* behind, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front P over monogram **SE*, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAI[OU]*, (S.7762, Sv. 272, SNG Cop. -). Good fine with banker's marks both sides, very rare with these letters in the field.

Only one reported in Svoronos.
