ANONYMOUS SERIES, (269-266 B.C.), silver didrachm, Rome mint, (6.75 grams), obv. ribbon bound head of Hercules with club and lionskin over shoulder, rev. she-wolf suckling twins, in exergue [R]OMAN[O], (S.66 [£750], Cr.20/1, Syd.6, BMC RC28). Good fine and rare.
